Service Description
This four-hour adventure offers a chance to discover a diverse range of wildlife. Dander along the coastline to watch our winter visitors, including brent geese, a myriad of waders, lapwings, curlew, and if we’re lucky perhaps a kingfisher or an otter. Our knowledgeable guide will enrich your understanding of these creatures and their conservation efforts. Unplug from the day-to-day, forget your worries, reconnect with nature, and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the stunning surroundings that make South County Down a natural wonder. Tour groups consist of 4-12 participants. Home-baked cakes and hot refreshments included. We do not currently have regularly scheduled sessions available for this tour. Please be aware that timings for both Red Kite Winter Roost and Coast and Country tours are subject to weather and tide conditions, and could therefore change. Information about any changes to times and locations of tours will be provided via email. Tours that are over or under subscribed may require rescheduling, in case of which you will be contacted via email. Please note that refunds are not available to clients who choose to cancel an agreed-upon booking. If your circumstances have changed, please inquire at least 24 hours in advance of your tour to reschedule.
